How to Approve Individual Registration Renewals
IMPORTANT UNIT APPROVAL PROCESS:
The Key 3, key 3 delegates, and the COR/CUR delegate can approve youth applications. The COR/CUR and the COR/CUR delegate can also approve adult applications.
Do we need to individually approve each person’s renewal?
Each renewal in your unit’s approval queue must be approved (or rejected) individually. See the instructions below for how to do this. In order to prevent additional renewal requests from being added to your unit’s queue, you may enable an option to automatically approve renewals. (via the option in this screenshot). Please note that there may be a slight delay (<24 hours) before changes to this setting take effect. Changing the “Allow auto approve renewals” setting only affects renewals submitted after the change takes effect. The approval requirement for renewals submitted before this change does not change, so if you have individuals renewals awaiting approval, you will still need to approve them manually when enabling this option.
To get to this screen to do auto approve renewals, select “Settings” (which is likely your default) instead of “Roster.”
For Individual Manual Renewals
The unit leaders will need to go to “Roster” and Click on the “Membership Renewal Orders” to find any member renewals that are waiting for approval.
Go to https://my.scouting.org/ and log in.
Click the Menu in the upper left.
Using the Dropdown menu, select your Unit (if not already there by default).
Click Organization Manager, then Roster.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and click Membership Renewal Orders.
It will expand to show open orders that you can click to approve.
Approve each as needed.
