Tower Level 1 Instructor Training (CS75)
This course is for Scouters who want to learn how to help rig and facilitate the tower for unit/district/council climbing events and mature older scouts who want to staff the tower or help with unit/district/council climbing events. Youth older than 16 and younger than 18 can earn Instructor in Training. You will learn how to belay, properly inspect helmets & harnesses, tie climbing knots, rig a climb and belay, and rig a releasable rappel with an independent belay. You will practice rigging the tower multiple times so you will be comfortable with the gear.
