Scouting for Food

Scouting for Food is a National Good Turn effort of the BSA and Occoneechee Council is excited to launch this year’s Scouting for Food efforts!

Units leaders can sign-up to participate – Virtual Kick Off on Wednesday, August 16th at 7:00 pm.

Units distribute doors hangers one weekend and then return the following weekend to pick-up donated food items.

We will record the amount of food collected and units can also log their volunteer hours.

Help us to make this the most successful year for Scouting for Food in our council!

*If your unit already plans to participate in a Scouting for Food effort at a different time, we would still like for you to sign-up and share your results with us so we can celebrate the collective efforts of our council.*
